Data methodology

Understand what each record can support and what still needs to be checked.

Manufacturer documents and structured parameters

Catalog parameters are organized from available source documents and maintained catalog records. Some source files are parsed or read with OCR. Text recognition, unit conversion, model matching and chemistry classification can introduce errors; uncertain or conflicting values need verification against the original manufacturer document.

A missing value means the catalog has not provided that value. It must not be interpreted as zero, an absence of the feature, or a verified limit. A shared family document may cover several models and is not a separate test of every listed model.

Test evidence

A published test report should be read with its laboratory, test date, sample count, standard and conditions. Capacity, discharge rate, temperature, voltage window and cycle procedure affect comparability. Manufacturer nominal values are not independent laboratory results.

A test label or report link is meaningful only when a corresponding published record exists. Demonstration content, when present, is a product preview and must be identified as an example.

Versions, dates and images

A catalog update date records a site record update. It does not establish a manufacturer document revision date or a fresh laboratory test. Check the file version and original document date separately.

Category illustrations help distinguish cell formats. They do not establish the exact terminal, sleeve, dimensions, labeling or supplied condition of a model. Confirm these with model-specific drawings and the supplier.

Corrections and procurement verification

Report a suspected error with the model, field, source URL or document version and the proposed correction. A request is reviewed before catalog data is changed. For procurement, confirm the manufacturer revision, stock date, batch, quantity, pricing and delivery terms in the formal quotation.
